This meet is recognized and will be conducted in accordance with the U.S. Masters Swimming Rules. Athletes may enter as many events as they wish in their age group. Pool temp 80-82 degrees.
Balcony viewing area (no disabled access)
Spectator/swimmer area at deck level is accessible.
USAS Certified Meet Referee and officials.
Electronic Timing System
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place customized medals in each age division for each event.
Ribbons for all other participants.
JAC has full locker rooms available during the meet. You may bring and use a lock if you would like.
Snacks will be available throughout the event.

Eligibility: 50+ years. When registering, please indicate Best Time or No time on registration form.

This meet is a "recognized" meet by Pacific Northwest Association of Masters Swimmers (PNA). While PNS membership is not required to swim, if you are a PNA Masters Swimmer, please give the Commissioner your number. This will ensure that times achieved will be recognized by USMS for qualifying times and records.

Turn right onto 145th heading west for .2 miles

Janet was certified as a lifeguard and water safety instructor during high school. She has been competing since 1974 at age 43 in Master Competition. Working out has been an important activity for her. She also began officiating at summer league and USA Swimming. She has been a Meet Director, Meets Coordinator for local Masters program, done most of the jobs involved in putting on meets, and spent about 8-10 years working with a friend to provide electronic timing for local swimming competition. Her experience contributed to her obtaining a job teaching water fitness at the Dale Turner Y (Shoreline) and she has also been instructing adults in swimming. She also officiates in track and field for all ages, including the Masters competition with the Seattle Parks Department.
